We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented and highly skilled Phlebotomist to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in collecting blood samples for analysis, diagnosis and treatment, ensuring all interactions are conducted with empathy and respect. Responsibilities:
- Perform venipunctures, fingersticks and specimen collection procedures with precision following established protocols.
- Ensure proper labeling, handling and transportation of all collected specimens to maintain sample integrity.
- Provide calm and professional care during interactions with patients of all ages, cultures, abilities and backgrounds.
- Update and maintain accurate and confidential patient records using healthcare management systems.
- Adhere to infection control, safety and quality assurance guidelines to ensure compliance with both company and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and replenish phlebotomy supplies when necessary.
- Effectively communicate with patients, families and healthcare professionals while maintaining privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with advancements in phlebotomy techniques and best practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Completion of a certified phlebotomy training program or equivalent education in allied health (required).
- Current certification as a Phlebotomist (CPT) by an accredited body such as the National Phlebotomy Association, ASCP or equivalent (preferred).
- Demonstrated proficiency in blood collection techniques including experience with diverse patient populations.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Day-to-Day:
- Greet patients warmly and create a comfortable, stress-free environment for blood collection.
- Perform routine blood draws and specialized specimen collections ensuring patient safety and minimizing discomfort.

- Verify patient information and address any questions or concerns regarding the procedure.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver efficient and effective care.
- Maintain organized and clean workspaces in compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
- Assist with resolving issues such as difficult draws or sample rejections while ensuring patients are treated with empathy and respect.
