Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive GP practice in Cambridge on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse seeking flexible working while maintaining a varied and rewarding clinical role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cervical cytology (smears)
- Childhood immunisations
- Travel vaccinations and advice
- General adult immunisations and injections
- Basic wound care and dressings
- Supporting patients with diabetes management and routine monitoring
Essential Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
- Previous experience working in a GP practice or primary care setting
- Competent in cervical screening, immunisations, and wound care
- Experience using SystmOne clinical system
Desirable:
- Diabetes management training or experience in chronic disease clinics
- Up-to-date immunisation and smear training certificates
