We are currently seeking an experienced Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) / Pharmacy Technician to support a pharmacy in Essex on a maternity cover basis.
Key Details
- Days: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays
- Hours: 12:00 - 18:00 (There may be flexibility to consider 2 full days instead of 3 half days)
Responsibilities:
- Over-the-counter duties
- Answering telephone calls
- Carrying out controlled drug balance checks using an eCDR
- Handling general patient enquiries
- Supporting the pharmacy team with day-to-day operational tasks
Requirements:
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC
- Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification essential
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting
- Confident, organised, and patient-focused approach
