We are currently seeking an experienced Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) / Pharmacy Technician to support a pharmacy in Essex on a maternity cover basis.

Key Details

  • Days: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays
  • Hours: 12:00 - 18:00 (There may be flexibility to consider 2 full days instead of 3 half days)

Responsibilities:

  • Over-the-counter duties
  • Answering telephone calls
  • Carrying out controlled drug balance checks using an eCDR
  • Handling general patient enquiries
  • Supporting the pharmacy team with day-to-day operational tasks

Requirements:

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC
  • Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification essential
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy setting
  • Confident, organised, and patient-focused approach
