We are Showsec, the award‑winning venue and event security specialist dedicated to achieving excellence in crowd management.
We are seeking additional SIA Door Supervisors to join our Bournemouth team at a variety of venues including Bournemouth International Centre, The Old Fire Station and O2 Academy Bournemouth.
Role Overview
As an SIA Door Supervisor, you must be able to communicate with colleagues in person and over the radio in loud and busy environments. You should be confident to take the initiative on implementing crowd safety measures. You will deliver excellent service while maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and customers. For this role we expect a high level of professionalism, integrity, and competency.
Responsibilities and Expectations
Provide professional and courteous service to patrons, maintain security and enforce venue rules, manage crowd flow, and be prepared to act in the event of emergencies. Coordinate with staff and communicate effectively over radio in loud environments. Use your take‑initiative to implement crowd safety measures to safeguard patrons and staff.
Qualifications
Valid SIA Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence for door supervisor; proven experience in event security or crowd management; excellent communication skills; ability to remain calm in noisy, busy settings; high level of professionalism and integrity.
Job Details
Flexible shift work in the night‑time economy and events industry. Availability required during evenings and weekends.

Compensation
Base pay is shown in this advert. The maximum pay rate applies to specific shifts such as club nights at specific venues. It is your decision as to whether or not you wish to accept any offer of work in line with our flexible casual contract.
