The predicted salary is between 30815 - 34300 £ per year.

Part of the area office Operations team, the post holder is responsible for carrying out supervisory duties on an operational level, ensuring the smooth running of operations in their designated venue. They will take responsibility for ensuring the venue is safe and manage staff in compliance with company protocols, legislation, and agreed processes. A requirement of the role is for the post holder to undertake the Management Development Programme (MDP) at the earliest opportunity.

What you will be doing

  1. Ensure the high-quality delivery of operations, attending and managing events in consultation with your Area Manager.
  2. Provide briefings and debriefings to the casual workforce under your agreed remit, on matters affecting safety and security of each event.
  3. Assist the responsible Operations Executive as directed, including liaising with clients.
  4. Create client-facing documentation, including financial quotations for staffing, and keep the Area Manager informed.
  5. Be responsible to clients and their representatives within your remit.
  6. Respond promptly to internal and external communications, including outside usual working hours when required, and arrange appropriate cover.
  7. Comply with all company policies, procedures, laws, and regulations related to the role.
  8. Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of staff at events under your remit, carrying out tasks safely and efficiently.
  9. Be competent in using the company\’s IT systems, including the bespoke database Smartg8.
  10. Manage your operational and administrative hours and workload in consultation with your Area Manager.
  11. Maintain professionalism at all times, communicating effectively at all levels and upholding confidentiality.

What we need from you

  • Showsec Head of Security Training
  • Right to Work in the UK**
  • SIA License – Door Supervisor**
  • Maths GCSE or equivalent (C or above)**
  • English GCSE or equivalent (C or above)**
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office platforms: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in client management and operational excellence

  • L3 Certificate in Spectator Safety
  • L4 Certificate in Spectator Safety
  • L5 Aware in Crowd Management or equivalent

*Upon successful completion of probationary period.

***If the successful candidate does not have a CCTV license, they must complete this within 6 months of probation.
