Working as part of the Recruitment Department, the post holder will be responsible for the end-to-end process of recruiting casual staff members, from shortlisting applications and reviewing video interviews through to checking documents, requesting references, and issuing contracts. The post holder will work in close partnership with the Recruitment Team Leader, Recruitment Manager, and Area Operations team to ensure daily goals and staffing level KPIs are achieved. We are looking to welcome two new team members into different areas of the department – one focused on the front end of the recruitment process, including shortlisting and selection, and the other supporting our five-year screening function, ensuring the recruitment of SIA Door Supervisors and Event Safety Stewards in line with the BS7858 code of practice.
What you will be doing:
- Working to achieve daily volume targets and KPIs set by the Recruitment Team Leader, Screening Team Leader, and/or Recruitment Manager, ensuring maximum success is achieved through various recruitment methods.
- Shortlisting applications and inviting selected candidates to undertake a video interview.
- Reviewing video interview footage and deciding which candidates to progress.
- Checking right to work and identification documents, ensuring full adherence to UK right to work legislation and BS7858 screening criteria.
- Issuing background checks.
- Planning and organising right to work sessions as directed by the Recruitment Team Leader and/or Recruitment Manager.
- Supporting the coordination of role changes and staff upskilling.
- Investigating employment gaps and inconsistencies within screening files.
- Proactively chasing outstanding references and validating supporting documentation.
- Responding to candidate queries via phone and email, providing clear and professional guidance.
- Ensuring contracts are issued promptly.
- Any other duties commensurate with the post.
