Showsec has a fantastic opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to play a key role in our Finance department. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of our accounts payable function and for maintaining a reliable and efficient purchase ledger system. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers and has a keen eye for detail. What You Will Be Doing
- Process invoices and credit notes.
- Prepare supplier payments runs and deal with payment requests.
- Maintain supplier account records.
- Ensure invoices coded and inputted correctly.
- Assist with queries from suppliers.
- Process expenses and credit card expenses.
- Electronic filing of all paperwork.
- Reconcile supplier statements to the accounts system.
- Check bank account and company information for any new payees.
- Handle month end tasks.
- Perform ad hoc administrative work for the accounts department.
