Showroomprive.com is a leading European online flash sales platform specializing in fashion and lifestyle. Every day, we offer our members exclusive access to over 3,000 partner brands. Operating in France and six additional countries, Showroom Privé is driven by innovation and a core commitment to serving our two main pillars: our brand partners and our members. This philosophy fuels our business and supports our continuous, dynamic growth.
The Opportunity
Showroom Privé is expanding its international footprint by opening a brand-new office in London, designed to accelerate our sourcing capabilities within the UK market. We are looking for an ambitious Business Developer to play a founding role in building our UK brand partnerships and establishing Showroom Privé as the premier off-price partner for British and international brands. You will help develop the UK into a major sourcing hub, replicating the massive success of our offices in Spain and Italy. This is a rare opportunity to join a major international e-commerce player while enjoying the agility, high visibility, and intrapreneurial spirit of a launch phase.
Who You Are
- Experienced: You bring 4 to 5 years of solid experience in Fashion Business Development, Key Account Management, or Buying. A background in off-price e-commerce, digital retail, or marketplaces is highly preferred.
- Driven: You possess a true "hunter" mentality. You love the thrill of chasing new business, networking, and closing deals.
- Analytical: You are highly comfortable with numbers. You know how to leverage Excel or Google Sheets to model deals, forecast performance, and analyze margins.
- Communicative: You are a natural negotiator with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Linguistically Skilled: Native or bilingual English is mandatory. Proficiency in French is a significant advantage, though not a deal-breaker.
Your Mission
- Hunt & Secure Partnerships: Identify high‑potential British brands and onboard them onto the Showroom Privé platform. You will own the entire sales cycle, from initial prospecting to the final close.
- Market Mapping: Conduct deep analysis of the UK market to identify emerging trends, new players, and competitive gaps.
- Negotiate Strategically: Define and secure commercial terms that align with our profitability targets while delivering undeniable value to our brand partners.
- Network & Represent: Act as the face of Showroom Privé in the UK. You will represent the company at trade shows, fashion events, and industry meetups to cultivate a strong local network.
- Analyse & Optimize: Collaborate with our Data and Support teams to monitor sales KPIs, adjusting your sourcing strategy to maximize revenue and brand success.
Benefits & Perks
- Competitive Package: Strong base salary paired with an attractive, performance‑based variable bonus.
- Flexibility: A smart working policy that supports a healthy work‑life balance.
- Prime Location: A fantastic office space located in the heart of Central London.
- Continuous Growth: Access to internal training academies (covering soft skills, digital tools, and languages) alongside real opportunities for rapid career progression as the UK office expands.
