We’re looking for a Senior Client Manager to join our busy team. You’ll be an excellent communicator, passionate about delivering high standards of customer service and have a real drive to succeed. Ideally the candidate would have experience working within the Events industry and have an understanding of delivering projects from a staffing supplier perspective.
As a Senior Client Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing client relationships, ensuring the successful delivery of services, and acting as the main point of contact between clients and internal teams. You’ll support the Operations team with the preparation of quotes and management of project schedules.
Responsibilities:- Manage existing client accounts and build long-term, trusted partnerships
- Understand client goals and proactively identify opportunities
- Ensure contracts are issued accurately
- Maintain contact to ensure repeat business and identify upsell opportunities
- Carry out regular site visits to understand your client’s requirements
- Arrange and attend meetings to generate new business and manage relationships
- Ensure that customers receive the best possible service at all times
- Ensure complaints are handled in line with company procedures
- Ensuring accreditation for events is complete
- Prepare accurate quotes and schedules utilising our bespoke CRM system and excel
- Ensure all project information is communicated to all team members
- Update client records ensuring current information is available at all times
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the clients’ needs and manage them through to delivery
- Obtain client feedback after each event and report to senior management
- Attend relevant trade exhibitions, networking events and training
- Work closely with the Head of Operations UK to ensure that the links between the Account Management and Scheduling teams are strong, ensuring both client and staff needs are met
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organised and able to multi-task
- Happy to travel around the UK and worldwide
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office including Word and Excel
- Great team player
- Ability to identify problems in process and resolve them in a timely manner
- Ability to work under pressure
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an account management or related role.
- Event industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
Salary is negotiable based on experience. Hybrid working can be discussed.
