We’re looking for a Guest Experience Lead to join our Reading team — someone who’s ready to lead from the front, bring positive energy, and support the team in creating memorable moments for every guest, every day.
The Role
As a Guest Experience Lead, you’ll work hands-on across the cinema and front-of-house areas, taking a lead role in:
- Delivering exceptional service to every guest
- Training, coaching, and supporting team members on shift
- Maintaining high operational standards across cleanliness, presentation, and customer service
- Supporting the wider management team with day-to-day operations
- Upholding and enhancing Showcase brand standards
You’ll be right at the heart of the action — leading by example, solving problems on the spot, and making sure every shift runs smoothly.
Working Hours
You’ll work 120 hours over a 6-week period on a flexible rota. Shifts include evenings, weekends, and public holidays, including Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis.

- Proven customer service experience (cinema, hospitality, or retail preferred)
- A natural team player with strong communication skills
- Leadership potential — you\’re proactive, dependable, and ready to take the lead
- A hands-on approach and willingness to support wherever needed
- Passion for film and creating an unforgettable guest experience
