About the role

As a key member of the Design team, the Design Coordinator supports the delivery of interior design projects by providing both design and administrative assistance. Working closely with Designers, Client Account Managers, Sales Support, and suppliers, the role helps ensure projects are accurately coordinated, deadlines are met, and design information is maintained to a high standard. This role requires a highly organised and proactive individual with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will work closely with Designers, Client Account Managers, Sales Support, and suppliers while developing their knowledge and experience within the interior design industry.

About You

Essential Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
  • Previous experience in an administrative role supporting a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong PC literacy and comfortable with various software tools.
  • Highly organized with excellent task prioritisation skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure, consistently meeting strict deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing business requirements and support the business through operational changes.
  • Have a keen eye for colour, proportion and balance whilst maintaining an interest in changing interior design trends.
Desirable Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
  • Experience using Vectorworks software.
  • Previous experience working in a creative environment.
  • Background in the interior design or construction industry, or a strong interest in interior design.
