An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative, passionate and forward-thinking Social Media Manager to join our Marketing Team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will support the team with the formation and delivery of the social media strategy, creating and publishing content for a range of platforms that support brand awareness. This role requires a creative thinker with a deep understanding of social media, trends and best practices within the golf industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and manage social media strategies across multiple platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X and LinkedIn.
  • Work alongside designers and content creators to create and schedule engaging content that resonates with our target audience and reflects our brand values.
  • Engage with our online communities by responding to messages and comments.
  • Track and analyse social media performance metrics to refine strategies and improve results.
  • Generate reports on social media performance for senior management.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media strategy / content calendar with broader marketing campaigns.
  • Support with management and recruitment of partnerships, ambassadors and influencers.
  • Support brand campaigns with script creation and attending content shoots.

Requirements

  • Keen interest and knowledge of golf.
  • Be a creative thinker who is passionate about social media.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
  • Competent in using social media tools and analytics software.
  • Expertise in growing and scaling social media followers and engagement.
  • Design skills using software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop and Figma.
  • Video editing skills; Premier Pro and After Effects or similar.
  • Knowledge and understanding of GA4.
  • Experience in deploying and analysing social media advertising (PPC & Paid Social) Google Ads, Meta.
