Hours: Full-Time (1.0 FTE), Permanent Contract, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only plus 5 INSET days.

Salary: Main Pay Scale Range, M1 to M6 (£32,916 – £45,332 per annum, Full-Time Equivalent).

The Role

We are seeking a talented, highly motivated Year 1 / Year 2 Teacher with a genuine passion for early primary education and an unrelenting drive for inclusive practice to join our small, rural, and supportive team in a mixed-age class setting.

First and foremost, we are looking for a brilliant classroom practitioner who delivers high-quality Key Stage 1 learning. For interested candidates, there is also an exciting opportunity to take on the leadership of Arts across the school. Building upon our proud achievement of holding Artsmark Gold status, you will have the opportunity to help guide our journey towards Artsmark Platinum (with our Statement of Commitment already submitted). Essential Criteria:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience of achieving excellent outcomes for Key Stage 1 children.
• High expectations, with the ability to model and disseminate high-quality teaching to secure consistently good or outstanding learning.
• Passion for creative arts and the vision to inspire artistic expression across the whole school community.
• A deep commitment to inclusion, ensuring every child—regardless of background or SEND—accesses a tailored, aspirational pathway to thrive.
• Alignment with our child-centered, trauma-informed relational approach to behaviour and emotional well-being.
• Good interpersonal skills, high motivation, and a commitment to ongoing professional development and the wider life of the school.
