ShortList Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Product Owner to join a market-leading software company who are looking to expand.

As a Senior Product Owner, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction and delivery of the company\’s core products. Reporting to the Head of Product, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to define and manage product roadmaps, maintain the backlog, write clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and ensure development priorities align with both business objectives and customer needs.

The successful candidate will lead all Agile ceremonies, define and track key product metrics and support the transition from a legacy application to a modern, cloud-based web platform.

The role will suit someone with the following skills:

• Extensive experience in product ownership or management
• Proven success in delivering software product launches
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies
• Experience supporting migration projects
• Experience with backlog management tools
• Ability to translate requirements into actionable user stories
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

The Senior Product Owner role is paying a salary up to £70,000 plus great benefits. The role is based in Chester and offers hybrid working with 2 days required onsite per week. It is commutable from Liverpool, Crewe, Wirral, Runcorn, Warrington and North Wales.
