An innovative, growing company is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition during an exciting time in its evolution. This company uses AI in specific scientific applications to dramatically increase product yields. This role focuses on engaging with target customers and key stakeholders to demonstrate how the company’s products can improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase profitability.
The BDM will act as a key link between technical offerings and customer needs, managing the full sales cycle from initial engagement through to closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and engage new customers through outreach, referrals, events, and inbound leads
- Understand customer challenges and tailor solutions to their needs
- Present and demonstrate the value of the company’s products
- Manage the full sales cycle, lead generation, qualification, proposals, negotiation, and closing
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and CRM records
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery
- Stay up to date with market trends, competitors, and industry developments
- Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities
- Proven experience in B2B sales
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex or technical products clearly
- Self-motivated and able to manage a full sales pipeline independently
- Strong relationship-building skills with a range of stakeholders

This BDM role is with a well-funded, growing organization in a niche scientific sector.
