Shortlist Recruitment are looking for a Systems Analyst to join a market-leading business based near Chester. The Systems Analyst will be responsible for analysing, defining, and documenting detailed system and technical requirements. The role will work across projects to translate business needs into robust, scalable, and supportable technical solutions.

Working closely with Software Engineers, Technical Architects, DevOps, and cross-functional stakeholders, the Systems Analyst will evaluate solution feasibility, identify technical impacts, and help shape system designs, integrations, and data flows. The role will act as a key bridge between business users and technical delivery teams, ensuring requirements are technically accurate, complete, and aligned to enterprise standards.

The Systems Analyst role will support the delivery of key IT projects from initiation through to implementation, with a strong focus on integration aspects.

  • Strong experience working in Agile Scrum delivery environments
  • Experience translating business requirements into detailed system and technical specifications
  • Knowledge of system architecture concepts, integrations, APIs, data flows, and middleware
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure DevOps is desirable
  • Experience supporting testing phases, including system, integration, and user acceptance testing
  • Ability to prioritise work, manage dependencies, and work effectively in a fast-paced delivery environment
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with engineers, architects, and non-technical stakeholders
