We are partnering with a fast-growing, innovative organisation based in Bicester to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant on a 6-month temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional to make a real impact within a dynamic team.
The Role
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will support the day-to-day finance function and play a key role in month-end and year-end processes. You will work within a collaborative team environment where your contribution will be valued from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing cash postings accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintaining and managing the sales ledger
- Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting the year-end audit process and liaising with auditors as required
- Posting month-end journals
- Performing account reconciliations to ensure accuracy across the ledgers
- Assisting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks and reporting as needed
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar management accounts or finance support role
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the confident use of VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
