Position Summary: To assemble, test and despatch products against customer orders for a supplier of Entry systems for the Rail Industry.
Duties include:
- Checking products at pre-installation stage
- Refurbishing mechanical products and entry systems
- Testing products and systems
- Assembling and testing products to workshop instructions (Mechanical)
- Completing and filing works orders and test sheets
- Checking in of deliveries and signing off packing lists
- Packing, labelling and despatching of products/orders using core IT systems
- Assisting with the sorting and recycling of metal waste
- Adhering to and assisting with the maintenance of ISO 9001 quality management system
- Assisting with stocktaking
- Assisting Engineering project team as and when required
Experience / Qualifications:
- Experience in a workshop / warehouse environment
- Some assembly and production experience
- Good work ethic
