Job Location: Goole, East Riding of Yorkshire
Shifts: Monday – Friday Mornings 06:00-14:30 / Afternoons 14:30-22:30 (Friday Finish at 20:00)
Hourly Rate: 18.86 PAYE
Hours Per Week: 40 Average
Duration: Ongoing

Company Summary
In partnership with Siemens Mobility we are recruiting for a large team of Technicians to build London\’s new fleet of underground stock for the Piccadilly line. This is one of the industries most exciting projects to be involved in, helping manufacture London\’s newest tube fleet. This will involve working out of Siemens Mobility\’s brand new state-of-the-art facility purpose built for this project!

Position Summary:
As a Vehicle / Coach Builder you will be expected to work in a safe manner, adhering to Siemens 4 steps to zero harm. You will be carrying out assembly tasks on mechanical parts, components, assemblies/sub-assemblies and interiors of trains for the world famous London Underground.

Responsibilities Include:
Mounting of components, units or pre-assemblies
Assembly of mechanical components
Preparation work, drilling, grinding and riveting
Pipe fitting/bonding
Documentation of activities (Glass or Paper systems)
Utilising pneumatic, hydraulic and other fitting systems
Working closely to production instructions including all correct tooling
Conduct regular quality, sight and functionality tests

Person Profile:
We are ideally looking for someone with an appropriate level 3 mechanical qualification or 18 months relevant experience
Experience working within a manufacturing, maintenance or overhaul environment,
Ideally you will be familiar with ERP systems, with a preference of SAP
You will be a self starter, with strong organisational skills, able to work both independently and in a team environment.
