Permanent role** Technical Liaison Engineer – Manchester UK\\n\\nSalary: £47,500 – £55,000 per year + £2,500 annual performance-based bonus\\n\\nPermanent, Full-time (40 hours per week)\\n\\nAre you an experienced engineer with a passion for aviation? Shorterm Group are looking for a Technical Liaison Engineer to join our Clients Manchester base maintenance operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex structural repairs, engage directly with customers, and contribute to the success of a dynamic and fast-paced engineering team.\\n\\nWhat You Will Do:\\n\\nAs a Technical Liaison Engineer, your key responsibilities include:\\n\\nStructural Analysis – Perform structural analysis to support aircraft repairs, both major and minor.\\n\\nWhat We're Looking For:\\n\\nQualifications & Experience\\n\\nEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited university preferred).\\n\\nIndustry Experience: Aviation-related background or mechanical engineering experience preferred.\\n\\nAircraft Repair Expertise: Experience in airline support, structural repairs, MRO, liaison, or MRB engineering is highly desired.\\n\\nKey Skills & Abilities\\n\\nExpertise in structural analysis and aircraft repair substantiation.\\n\\nExperience in preparing structural damage reports for OEMs and STC holders.\\n\\nStrong understanding of FARs and related regulations.\\n\\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\\n\\nAbility to work directly with customers to develop solutions and manage expectations.\\n\\nWork Environment\\n\\nLocation: Manchester, UK.\\n\\nProvide timely engineering support for line and check aircraft.\\n\\nDevelop, review, and implement repair schemes, including sketches and calculations.\\n\\nWork closely with customers throughout the repair and modification process.\\n\\nWhat's on Offer:\\n\\nCompetitive salary, performance-based bonus, and an excellent benefits package, including:\\n\\nFree on-site parking\\n\\n25 days annual leave (plus Bank Holidays)\\n\\nSalary Sacrifice Pension Scheme\\n\\nLife Insurance (Death in Service)\\n\\nEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP)\\n\\nCompany Sick Pay\\n\\nCycle to Work Scheme\\n\\nYour Impact\\n\\nIn this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring timely repair delivery, meeting budgets, and exceeding revenue forecasts.
