As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, delivery, and support of UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) and Government projects. This role requires a proactive and technically capable individual who can interpret project requirements, implement system solutions, and ensure successful project delivery in line with specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and configure systems for MoD and Government projects in line with technical and operational requirements.
- Work closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure timely and successful delivery of assigned work packages.
- Test, evaluate, and validate new equipment and technologies as directed.
- Deliver assigned projects in accordance with agreed specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
- Interpret project requirements and translate them into effective system designs and solutions.
- Provide technical input and support throughout the project lifecycle, from design through to implementation and acceptance.
- Strong sense of ownership with the ability to drive tasks through to completion.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to make independent decisions within defined authority levels.
- Solid understanding of network architectures and system design principles.
- Ability to analyse and interpret technical requirements for system delivery.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a structured and methodical approach.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in systems engineering, preferably within defence, government, or secure environments.
- Experience with network design, integration, and system configuration.
- Familiarity with MoD or government project frameworks and standards is desirable.
- Relevant technical certifications or engineering qualifications are advantageous.
This role is located in Redhill, Surrey. Must be able to obtain full SC.
