Site Manager, SR163 Power Networks,Transmission & Distribution Pontypridd CF37 5UA £70,000 to £75,000 plus car + fuel card + pension Job Ref: J(phone number removed) We are looking for an experienced TP137/SR163 Site Manager to oversee substation projects across South Wales and the South West. We have site in: Upper Boat, Pontypridd Cilfynydd 400kV, Pontypridd Imperial Park, Newport Uskmouth, Newport Bramley, Basingstoke Iron Acton, North Bristol Chickerill, Weymouth Mannington, Bournemouth The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the energy sector, particularly in Civils, and experience liaising with National Grid, subcontractors, and third parties. Key Responsibilities: * Lead site operations, ensuring the projects are delivered on time, within budget and in compliance with industry standards. * Serve as the primary liaison with National Grid, subcontractors and third parties to ensure seamless project execution. * Maintain all necessary site documentation, including Lifting & Access Plans, RAMs and ensure strict health & safety adherence. * Monitor and assess subcontractor performance, conduct regular site inspections and implement best practices * Provide detailed project updates, highlighting key milestones, challenges and resource requirements. You will have: * TP137/SR163 qualification (lapsed is fine as well) * Proven site management experience in transmission projects * NG Competent Person NSI6 & 8 Full (lapsed is fine as well) * HSG47 * Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and CDM * Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills * Full UK driving licence Your Personal Attributes: * Proactive and solution-driven, with strong decision-making abilities * Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure * Strong leadership with a hands-on approach to problem-solving Would suit a Project Engineer, Operations Engineer, Site Manager, Cabling Site Manager, Site Supervisor If you can perform in such a role and have previous experience doing so, please send your CV to Cindy Anderson We also have roles in Project Engineering, Site Management, Operations Management, Site Engineering, Design, Health and Safety and Compliance
