Position Summary: Working within a busy manufacturing and fabrication environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for operating press brake machinery and supporting the production of a range of fabricated metal components.
- Operating CNC press brake machinery safely and efficiently
- Setting and operating machinery to produce components to specification
- Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Measuring and checking finished components to ensure quality and accuracy
- Carrying out general metal fabrication duties as required
- Handling and positioning sheet metal and fabricated components
- Supporting the wider production team to meet deadlines and production requirements
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment
Candidates will have:
- Previous experience operating CNC press brake machinery
- Experience within a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Good understanding of measurements, tolerances and quality standards
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable and conscientious approach to work
- Full UK driving licence desirable
