We are seeking a skilled and motivated Enterprise Network Engineer to join our Enterprise Engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge communications and networking solutions that support customers operating in remote, maritime, and global environments, this role is located in Redhill, Surrey.

You will play a key role in the design, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of customer networks and the company's global infrastructure. Working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, you will help deliver innovative solutions across VSAT, LTE, IP networking, VoIP, virtualisation, cybersecurity, and cloud-based services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, test, commission, and support customer network solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex escalated technical issues.
  • Support the delivery of customer projects from initial design through to deployment and ongoing support.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for customer and internal solutions.
  • Evaluate new technologies, products, and services for inclusion within the company portfolio.
  • Assist with the design and management of global communications infrastructure, including satellite, LTE, and IP networking services.
  • Participate in customer site surveys, installations, and network configurations, including occasional travel at short notice.
  • Work collaboratively with Engineering, Sales, Logistics, and Product teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry developments.
Skills & Experience:
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, and firewall technologies.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex network and communications issues.
  • Knowledge of modern IT infrastructure and/or satellite communications systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative engineering team.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proactive, flexible, and professional approach.
  • Experience with VoIP technologies, including Asterisk.
  • Scripting or programming experience (Bash, Perl or similar).
  • Systems integration, hardware design, or software development experience.
  • Cisco and/or Microsoft certifications.
Qualifications required:
  • Degree, HND, or HNC in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Networking, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant industry certifications (Cisco, Microsoft, or equivalent) are advantageous.
  • Must be able to travel and work in Redhill, Surrey.
