PSV/HGV Technician needed in Bracknell

Shorterm Group are looking for an experienced PSV/HGV Technician for a permanent position in Bracknell. 4 on 4 off shift 14:00 – 01:00 £26.50 Per hour Duties: Inspecting, repairing and maintaining our buses. Attending to the daily driver reported defects. Investigating and diagnosing mechanical and electronic faults. Recording faults and the work performed to fix them using a tablet. Following safety instructions and reporting any issues. Skills: Work a shift pattern of four days on and four days off. Ability to manage work load independently. Possess at least an NVQ Level 2 qualification in the maintenance and repair of public service vehicles or heavy good vehicles (or an equivalent international qualification), or have at least five years experience in repairing and maintaining public service or heavy good vehicles, which you will need to provide evidence for. Possess IRTEC vehicle inspectors qualification or be prepared to gain this during your first 6 months. While not essential, having a PCV licence would be a great advantage.
