We are looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join a well-known and respected engineering company based in Poole. Please note this is a contract position.

Key Responsibilities of Welder / Fabricator:

  • To carry out MIG and MMA welding on aluminium and steel components to a high standard.
  • Inspect and assess completed welds to ensure quality, durability, and compliance with specifications.
  • Support the safe and efficient delivery of work in both workshop and site-based environments.
  • Adapt to a variety of marine engineering tasks in line with changing project requirements.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience of Welder / Fabricator:

  • Time-served Welder/Fabricator with proven experience working with steel and aluminium.
  • Competent in MIG and MMA welding processes.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety practices and quality standards.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and in variable site conditions.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to support and guide less experienced colleagues.
  • Hold the full rights to work in the UK.
  • Able to travel to Poole daily for work.
