Key Responsibilities:

  • Cut, shape, and assemble steel plate components with precision.
  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Utilize fabrication machines, including grinders, drill presses, brakes, rolls, shears, and flame cutters, to process materials.
  • Conduct visual inspections to ensure all work meets quality standards and aligns with technical drawings.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Participate in the development of templates and jigs for repetitive tasks to ensure consistent quality.
  • Be flexible to respond to emergency situations and unplanned repairs outside of normal working hours, including on-call duties and potential night shifts.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication.
  • Proficiency in using fabrication equipment such as drilling machines, rolling machines, and guillotines.
  • Strong understanding of quality control processes and inspection techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Competence in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Experience working with steel metals and familiarity with various fabrication methods.
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of the role, including lifting and prolonged periods of standing.

  • Working Hours: Full-time position, 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Compensation: 16.00- 17.50 per hour, commensurate with experience.
