Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4:00pm, Friday 7:30am - 12:00pm (39 hours per week)
We are recruiting for a Site Manager to oversee on-site fluid management operations at a customer facility in Peterborough. This is a hands-on position suited to someone with experience within a mechanical, chemical, manufacturing or production environment.
The successful candidate will lead a team of 3-4 people, manage day-to-day fluid management activities, and ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing all fluid management service activities on site
- Supervising and allocating work to the on-site team
- Applying and changing lubricants and fluids in line with planned maintenance schedules
- Carrying out coolant and wash cleanouts
- Monitoring fluid conditions and plant equipment performance using the company's in-house reporting system
- Managing fluid waste streams and ensuring safe disposal processes are followed
- Liaising with the customer and attending operational meetings
- Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures, site practices and 5S standards are followed
- Experience working within a mechanical, chemical, manufacturing or production environment
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience would be beneficial
- Hands-on approach with the ability to work independently
