We are currently recruiting experienced Precision Inspectors to join our team supporting a leading UK-based Formula 1 team. This is an exciting opportunity for skilled inspection professionals to work within a world-class, high-performance engineering environment. We are looking for candidates with experience across CMM inspection, manual metrology, scanning systems, and precision engineering who can maintain the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
The Role
As a Precision Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting high-quality precision components, analysing inspection results, and ensuring all parts meet strict engineering and quality requirements. You will work with advanced inspection equipment and systems, supporting production and engineering teams by providing accurate measurement data and maintaining exceptional quality standards.
Key Responsibilities & Skills
- Perform precision inspection using CMM equipment, manual metrology equipment, and scanning systems
- Operate and run pre-written CMM inspection programs
- Create, edit, and run advanced PC-DMIS programs (online and offline) where required
- Analyse detailed inspection reports and identify issues
- Develop and support PolyWorks programs for 7-axis scanning arms
