Job Description

Role: MIG Welders\\nLocation: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire\\nType: Contract to Permanent\\nStart Date: Early October\\nShifts: 5 days per week (out of 7, shift to be confirmed)\\nHours: 9-hour shifts / 45 hours per week\\nPay (Contract): £22.50 per hour PAYE, equivalent to approx. 52k per annum )\\nSalary (Permanent): £41,000+ per annum + overtime + shift uplift\\n\\nThe Role\\n\\nWe're looking for experienced MIG welders with a mechanical background to join the team in Peterborough. The work focuses on vehicle maintenance, including repairs and occasional corrosion work.

When not welding, you'll also provide basic fitting support.\\n\\nThis role will start on a contract basis at £22.50 per hour. After around one to two months, the position is expected to transfer to a permanent contract with a salary of £41,000+ per annum, plus overtime and shift uplifts.\\n\\nWhat to Expect\\n\\nInitial competency training in Peterborough, followed by rotation with existing staff\\n\\nDrug and alcohol test required after a successful interview\\n\\nPaid PTS (Personal Track Safety) course in your first week\\n\\nIn the future, shift patterns may change. At least one month's notice will be given.
