Job Opportunity: Mechanical Fitter / Assembler, Location: Heanor, Derbyshire. Payrate:£14 per hour + £21 per hour overtime (lots of overtime) Shifts: Days, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter/Assembler to contribute to the construction of switchgear and electrical transformers. The primary responsibility involves mechanically mounting switchgear onto electrical transformers, with a predominant focus on new builds. Some maintenance tasks may be included in the scope of work. Candidate Requirements: Strong background in mechanical maintenance or assembly. Advantageous to hold any NVQ qualifications in an engineering discipline.
