Company Summary: They are a global leader in Rolling Stock vehicle manufacturing, service and maintenance.
Position Summary: Be an effective member of the Team to professionally manage all material requirements through the SAP system. Keep in contact with key stakeholders such as Fleet Control, understanding requirements and reacting to ensure work can be carried out effectively. Identify and drive replenishment processes inline with historical and future material demand.
Key responsibilities:
- To monitor and review MRP output
- Validate demand and create requisitions to meet demand
- To create depot specific Material Master for new items
- Have insight to stock levels across depot
- Attending weekly meetings to report current statuses
- To provide full supply chain support for any identified project requirements
- Expedite critical or escalated material
Qualifications & Functional Knowledge:
- Proficient in computerised business tools (SAP and MS Office such as Excel and Word)
- Attention to detail
- Report writing
- Strong communication skills
