Management Accountant Location: Wroxham, Norfolk We are looking for an experienced and commercially aware Management Accountant to join the Finance team of a highly respected British luxury manufacturing business based in Wroxham, Norfolk. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical and organised finance professional to play an important role in the production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts. Reporting to the Finance Planning & Analysis Manager, you will have a particular focus on monthly gross profit reporting, cost analysis, reconciliations and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of ERP data. The successful candidate will enjoy working with financial and operational data, investigating variances, identifying opportunities for improvement and building effective working relationships with colleagues across the business.This role is based in Wroxham. Key Responsibilities Support the production and integrity of the monthly management accounts. Produce monthly gross profit reporting, including the reconciliation and reallocation of monthly job expenditure. Complete WIP and revenue recognition adjustments. Reconcile and reallocate other productive costs. Complete balance sheet reconciliations. Carry out weekly timesheet checks and uploads. Analyse material costs and committed cost variances, investigating discrepancies where required. Undertake labour cost analysis. Produce stock usage and variance reporting. Maintain the accuracy and integrity of ERP data. Analyse and interpret financial and operational information to identify issues, trends and opportunities. Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to resolve financial and data-related queries. Support the wider Finance team with ad hoc analysis and reporting as required. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting and data quality. About You We are looking for someone who is analytical, commercially minded and highly organised, with a strong eye for detail. You will ideally have: Strong analytical and numerical skills. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy. Advanced Excel skills, including Lookups, Pivot Tables and Power Query. The ability to interpret, analyse and communicate financial and operational data. Confidence to challenge inaccurate or incomplete information in a constructive and professional manner. Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial colleagues. A positive and collaborative approach to working within a team. The ability to take ownership of responsibilities and work independently. A proactive approach to identifying process improvements and resolving issues. Flexibility and willingness to support the wider Finance team during busy periods, particularly around month-end. Qualifications & Experience CIMA, ACCA or a similar professional accounting qualification would be desirable. Previous experience in a management accounting role is essential. Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment would be advantageous. Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting systems would be beneficial. Strong Excel and data analysis experience is highly desirable. This position is offered on a full-time basis; however, part-time applications will also be considered for the right candidate. The business is particularly open to discussing flexible working arrangements around key periods such as month-end.
