We are seeking an experienced Machine Borer to join our clients landing gear MRO facility. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining boring machines to produce precision aircraft components. This role requires strong machining knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate all types of boring machines to fine limits.
- Work independently and take ownership of tasks.
- Read and understand technical drawings.
- Use horizontal boring practices effectively.
- Measure using imperial units.
- Maintain high standards of quality and safety.
Experience & Skills
- Machining background is essential.
- Previous boring experience.
- Experience with horizontal boring machines (desirable).
- Training in machine shop practices and technology.
- Aerospace experience (desirable but not essential).
- Basic knowledge of CNC machining (desirable but not essential).
- Must have the full right to live and work in the UK.
Shift: Double days (Monday to Friday)
Week 1: 6am - 2pm
Week 2: 2pm - 10pm
Pay: From £29,900 + Shift allowance (£3,920)
