My client are a fast-paced company specialising in the logistics and coordination of temporary accommodation for event hire including modular builds, and cabin relocations.
Some of these events include “I'm a Celebrity”, “Wimbledon”, “Six Nations” and the “F1”.
The team thrives on delivering exceptional service to their clients while ensuring seamless coordination of hauliers, logistics & event facilities.
The Role:
They are seeking a highly organised and switched-on Logistics Coordinator to join their team. You will play a key role in managing the end-to-end logistics process, liaising with clients, drivers & contractors to ensure effective coordination of the movement of cabins, event accommodation, and modular builds and many more products. This is a pivotal role for someone who is looking to utilise their organisation & hands on approach to further develop the logistics coordination and maximise the company's utilisation/distribution of products & stock.
Key Responsibilities:
•Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and effective communication.
•Coordinate and schedule hauliers for the timely transport of products.
•Manage the logistics of moving cabins, event accommodation, and modular builds.
•Monitor and update delivery schedules, addressing any changes or challenges promptly.
•Collaborate with internal teams to ensure operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
•Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
About You:
We’re looking for someone with a proactive approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and a knack for staying organised in a busy environment. The ideal candidate will:
• Have prior experience in logistics, coordination, or a similar role (event or construction experience is a plus).
• Possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Be detail-oriented with strong time management abilities.
• Be adept at multitasking and prioritising workloads effectively.
• Have a working knowledge of logistics software (preferred but not essential).
