The Role:
- We are currently recruiting for a Product Support Engineer - HVAC to join an established team working across the UK rail industry.
- This is a hands-on role focused on the maintenance, fault finding, servicing and repair of HVAC systems across a range of rolling stock.
- You will work on a variety of rail vehicles and projects, including Class 158s, Class 174s, Mark 4s and other rolling stock.
- The role involves extensive UK-wide travel, with a significant amount of lodging away from home.
- The standard working week is 40 hours, with excellent opportunities for overtime. Engineers are currently averaging around 10 hours of overtime per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on rolling stock HVAC systems.
- Fault finding and diagnosing HVAC issues.
- Servicing, repairing and replacing HVAC components.
- Carrying out modifications and maintenance work on rail vehicles.
- Working safely and efficiently at customer sites across the UK.
- Completing maintenance documentation and reports.
- Supporting a variety of rolling stock projects.
