Shorterm Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to play a hands-on role in delivering electrical infrastructure design projects across the full project lifecycle for a well-established civil engineering company based in Kingston upon Thames.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5-10 years of experience in electrical infrastructure design.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale, heavy-duty infrastructure projects within the ports industry, ideally involving ports, harbours, or container terminals.
- Strong understanding of electrical power systems, including LV/HV distribution, utility networks, and resilience strategies.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Amtech/Trimble, ETAP, Dialux, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
The Role
- Permanent position.
- Standard day shift hours.
- Based in Kingston upon Thames.
- Office-based during the probation period.
- Following probation, a hybrid working arrangement is available with a minimum of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
