The Role: We are looking to recruit a Multi Skilled / Electrical Maintenance engineer from a conveyor, automated or fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for ensuring that all production and ancillary machinery, equipment, and power systems operate at maximum efficiency. You must have good electrical and PLC knowledge.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Equipment reliability and performance
- Plant Maintenance (TPM & PPM)
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience with automotive machinery maintenance and fault diagnoses
- Electrical / PLC Experience (Siemens or Rockwell)
- Possess appropriate formal qualifications applicable to your engineering discipline OR 10 years+ of experience
- Has strong background in maintenance
Ideal Skills/Knowledge:
- Electrical Bias
- Must be able to electrically fault find in a safe, methodical, and timely manner
- Can conduct electrical machinery audits
- To monitor and ensure that manufacturing equipment does not pose any electrical risks to personnel
- To identify areas of poor equipment performance, and work in a team to implement improvements in a controlled and measurable fashion
- Must be competent to conduct Preventative Maintenance activities to a very high standard and record and relay findings and identify methods of improvement.
