Position Summary:
You will be responsible for the Installation, Commissioning and Testing of control systems for ventilation/smoke systems on high rise buildings
You will be expected to carry out the following:
* Accurately install Control systems maintaining quality and accurate records of paperwork
* Fault finding, diagnosis and repair to mechanical and electrical components
* Commission control systems on sites
* Take responsibility for the accuracy and quality of your work
* Always promote safe working practices and making sure company equipment is safe including (PPE, Company vehicle and phone)
* Project Planning and decision making both individually and as part a team to ensure work is delivered on time and to the highest standards
Person Profile:
You will be a highly self-motivated individual, possessing excellent communication skills and able to work both individually as well as part of a team
Experience/Qualifications:
* Minimum Level 2 C&G/EAL Diploma in Electrical installations
* Experience with fire alarm/safety systems, CCTV, or low voltage control systems preferred but not essential
* A full clean driving licence
* Ability to work flexible hours when required are essential
* Experience of site-site based work and comfortable working at heights
* Working from towers and aerial platforms will be a regular part of the role
