An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health, Safety Environment (HSE) Coordinator to join a leading advanced manufacturing organisation operating within a highly regulated environment. This is a key role supporting a long-term programme focused on chemical compliance, REACh legislation, environmental improvement, and process transition, while providing day-to-day HSE support across manufacturing and engineering operations. You'll work closely with Production, Engineering, Project Management and the wider HSE team to ensure compliance, drive continuous improvement, and support the safe delivery of operational projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate Health, Safety Environmental activities across multiple manufacturing areas.
- Support a long-term programme to phase out regulated chemicals and introduce compliant alternative processes in line with REACh legislation.
- Carry out and review risk assessments, including general H S, COSHH, environmental and ergonomic assessments.
- Support the implementation of environmental action plans and regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Assist with accident, incident and near-miss investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and tracked.
- Provide HSE guidance and support to managers and operational teams on best practice, legislation and PPE.
