Job Title: Commissioning Technician Location: East Yorkshire Hourly Pay Rate: £26.79 PAYE / £36.00 Umbrella O/T after 40 hours paid at 1.5 Shifts: 45 hours per week Shift Pattern: Mon - Fri 06:00- 15:00 / 13:00 - 22:00 rotating weekly Duration: On-going contract Position Summary: Working at a modern Rolling Stock production facility you who will initially be engaged for the implementation of a suite of modifications for the new London Underground Stock. You will be responsible for: * Tests and repairs on the systems including HVAC, CCTV, PIS and lighting * Braking tests * Helping with detailed fault finding and diagnostics * Re-wires and electrical component changes * Repairs and calibrations to door systems * Download train data from on board train data recorders using laptops * Run diagnostics software to identify faults with various train systems i.e. hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, train management systems & on board computers. * System software updates as required Qualifications / Education required: * Minimum requirements NVQ Level 3 or equivalent award in an Engineering discipline. * Minimum 2 years Rolling Stock testing or commissioning experience PLEASE NOTE ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUGS AND ALCOHOL TEST BEFORE BEING OFFERED A POSITION (this is standard procedure on Rail depots) Please note due to the volume of applications, we can only commit to contact those candidates we deem suitable for the position.
