We are seeking skilled Platers and FCAW Welders to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to major Defence-sector projects within a supportive, safety-focused organisation. This role is located in Glasgow.

As a Plater or FCAW Welder, you will work across a range of heavy fabrication tasks within the Defence and Ship Repair sectors, both at our Glasgow facility and onsite as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out heavy fabrication and welding tasks to high-quality standards.
  • Work as part of a team on Defence and ship repair projects.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
  • Undertake site-based fabrication on heavy infrastructure projects.
Essential Requirements:
  • Proven experience in heavy fabrication and/or FCAW welding.
  • Experience working on site-based heavy infrastructure projects.
  • SVQ Level 3 qualification and Apprenticeship Trade Papers/Certificates.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
  • Must be able to travel and work in Glasgow.
