We are seeking skilled Platers and FCAW Welders to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to major Defence-sector projects within a supportive, safety-focused organisation. This role is located in Glasgow.
As a Plater or FCAW Welder, you will work across a range of heavy fabrication tasks within the Defence and Ship Repair sectors, both at our Glasgow facility and onsite as required.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out heavy fabrication and welding tasks to high-quality standards.
- Work as part of a team on Defence and ship repair projects.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
- Undertake site-based fabrication on heavy infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in heavy fabrication and/or FCAW welding.
- Experience working on site-based heavy infrastructure projects.
- SVQ Level 3 qualification and Apprenticeship Trade Papers/Certificates.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Must be able to travel and work in Glasgow.
