You’ll work directly with engineering and programme teams, not just report numbers from behind a desk. No two days are the same here. As Finance Business Partner, you’ll own actuals-to-budget analysis across individual programmes, drive accountability for spend, and lead quarterly reforecasting.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Actuals to budget analysis across individual programmes
- Data analysis – reviewing and comparing performance across multiple workstreams
- Leading the year-end budget and quarterly reforecasting processes
- Developing tools to track and report on cost and income streams
- Providing timely financial reporting to support programme and business reviews
- Working alongside sales and programme teams to drive revenue milestone delivery
- Building strong relationships across the business
Essential Requirements
- Business partnering experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Understanding of engineering programmes and tracking
- Strong interpersonal skills – confident, personable, and credible with non-finance stakeholders
- Experience in forecasting and reforecasting
- Excel proficiency – VLOOKUP’s and Pivot Tables
- Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment
Desirable
- Background in aerospace or automotive
- CIMA or ACCA qualified
- Experience with Power BI or similar planning/analysis tools
