Job Description CNC Turner - Setter Operator / Programmer (Fanuc Controls) Salary: £16.00 - £17.00 per hour (Setter/Operator) | Up to £19.00 per hour (Programmer/Setter/Operator) Hours: Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 16:30 | Friday: 07:00 - 11:00 Early Finish Every Friday CNC Turner - Setter Operator / Programmer Required A well-established precision engineering company based in Fareham is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join its growing manufacturing team. Producing high-quality precision-machined components for a range of demanding industries including aerospace, marine, construction, and medical equipment, this is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and respected engineering environment. The company is keen to speak with both experienced Setter/Operators and those with additional Fanuc programming experience, with higher rates available for programmers. As a CNC Turner, your responsibilities will include: Setting and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls Programming CNC machines (where applicable) Carrying out in-process inspections using measuring equipment Maintaining high quality and production standards Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop CNC Turner - Setter Operator Previous CNC turning experience Experience setting and operating CNC lathes Strong attention to detail and quality standards CNC Turner - Programmer / Setter Operator Proven experience programming CNC lathes using Fanuc controls Ability to create, edit, and optimise programs Strong understanding of tooling and machining processes 16.00 - £17.00 per hour for Setter/Operators ~ Up to £19.00 per hour for Programmer/Setter/Operators ~ Permanent, full-time position ~ Early finish every Friday ~ Long-term career opportunity with a growing company Whether you're an experienced CNC Turner Setter/Operator looking for your next challenge or a CNC Programmer with Fanuc experience seeking a higher-level role, we'd love to hear from you.
