Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Reach Stacker Operator to join our busy and professional terminal operation based at Grangemouth. The site is a key logistics hub responsible for the management, decanting, filling, and movement of sea containers transported via road and rail. In addition to core operational duties, the successful candidate will support general container maintenance and undertake basic checks and upkeep of the Reach Stacker equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-use inspections and safety checks of the Reach Stacker equipment
- Unload containers (typically up to 30 units) from incoming rail services
- Position and organise containers for decanting and refilling operations
- Assist with the emptying, cleaning, and preparation of containers for reuse
- Load and unload vehicles as required
- Prepare for and support operations related to incoming and outgoing train services
- Maintain an organised depot environment, ensuring containers are stored efficiently for future movement
- Carry out all duties in accordance with company operational procedures
