We're recruiting for experienced Engine Builders to join a specialist engineering team in Burton upon Trent. The role involves the refurbishment and rebuild of engines used in rail, marine, and industrial applications.

  • Strip and rebuild mechanical engine components to OEM standards
  • Work to technical manuals and assembly specifications
  • Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
  • Accurately complete job documentation and reports
  • Maintain high health and safety standards
  • Collaborate with other departments and support apprentices when needed

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in motor mechanics preferred but not necessary
  • Experience in engine or mechanical assembly (rail/automotive ideal)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
