Position Summary: Working as a mechanical fitter in the overhaul of key rolling stock components including Bogies and Wheelsets.
Duties can include:
- Working in teams to diagnose, fault find and repair Bogies and Wheelsets inside an Overhaul program
- Using appropriate tools to Strip / Re-build mechanical assemblies
- Inspection of mechanical elements required for repair
- Routine PPM, reactive and minor repair
Person Profile/Experience:
- Apprentice Trained (Level 3 in relevant Mechanical Engineering discipline)
- Experience within Rolling Stock / Rail Industry
Qualifications: Level 3 in Engineering / Maintenance / Mechanical Field
