Position Summary: Working as a mechanical fitter in the overhaul of key rolling stock components including Bogies and Wheelsets.

Duties can include:

  • Working in teams to diagnose, fault find and repair Bogies and Wheelsets inside an Overhaul program
  • Using appropriate tools to Strip / Re-build mechanical assemblies
  • Inspection of mechanical elements required for repair
  • Routine PPM, reactive and minor repair

Person Profile/Experience:

  • Apprentice Trained (Level 3 in relevant Mechanical Engineering discipline)
  • Experience within Rolling Stock / Rail Industry

Qualifications: Level 3 in Engineering / Maintenance / Mechanical Field
