Client Summary: A local engineering firm specialising in Rail and Rolling Stock projects. Undertaking a wide variety of engineering repair, maintenance and modification.
Position Summary: Undertaking a hybrid role between the Dispatch and Stores Department. Working in both the Warehouse and office environments to manage and dispatch orders.
This will include:
- Booking / Checking Orders and Material for Goods In and Dispatch
- Updating Excel and other management software
- Maintaining relationships with Transport Companies - organising and booking transport
- Tracking orders / materials throughout the business
- Wrapping / packing orders as required
- FLT and general Stores activities
Person Profile/Experience:
- Experience within a similar role (managing dispatch, materials and transport)
- Highly organised individual with excellent time management skills
- Comfortable booking transport and working to set deadlines
Qualifications:
- FLT licence (highly desirable)
- Overhead Crane experience
- Experienced Excel User
