Client Summary: A leading, well recognised global manufacturer of Agricultural machinery
Position Summary: Responsible for performing daily cycle counts of manufacturing inventory, identifying and reporting variances, investigating root causes, and implementing corrective actions to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity.
- Perform daily cycle counts of inventory in designated areas.
- Reconcile physical inventory counts with system records in WMS (AS400).
- Investigate discrepancies and document findings.
- Conduct root cause analysis for inventory variances.
- Recommend and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
- Identify and document damaged or misplaced products found during counts.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve inventory issues.
Person Profile/Experience:
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks including lifting, carrying, walking, standing, twisting, kneeling, and bending for up to 9 hours per shift.
- Ability to distinguish basic colours and shades for inventory coding purposes.
- Proficient in basic computer applications, including MS Excel and MS Access.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Good attendance and punctuality.
