Engine Parts Cleaner

Job title: Parts Cleaner (nights) Job location: Burton upon Trent Shifts: Days only. Payrate DOE – uplift for night shift. Hours per week: 44. Hours: 7am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 7am to 1pm on Friday. Duration: Contract / temp to perm – 6 months + Start date: immediate. Client Summary: Leading manufacturer and front line supplier of powertrain products based in the UK and Ireland. Areas of expertise include Engine Overhaul, final Drive Overhaul and locomotive refurbishment. Position Summary: Cleaning and preparation of engine, transmission and raft parts using manual tools, dual acting sander (DA) scrapers etc. Person Profile/Experience: * Someone from a basic mechanical background, * Familiar with hand tools. * Someone happy to work in what can be a dirty environment repetitive environment. * Clean drug and alcohol test.
